Omensight Manipulates Time to Prevent the End of Days
It is no secret that I enjoyed Stories: The Path of Destinies. It was my indie game of the year for 2016 and I fell in love the wonderfully unique time-bending story. So I was excited to see that Spearhead games are back with a new title and are continuing their love for time-travel tomfoolery.
Omensight is about the Harbinger, a warrior who exists outside of time. This warrior is set the task of preventing the apocalypse by manipulating events and people that had a major impact on the end of the world. By taking part in these different events and by interacting with these people, the Harbinger will gain a better understanding of how the world ended and use that information to prevent it happening. It certainly runs with a similar theme to Stories, but as you can see from the trailer and screens, things are a bit darker this time around.
With a talented studio of industry veterans that have worked on titles such as Fallout New Vegas and Prey and my abiding love for Stories, I have to say I am pretty excited to get my hands on Omensight. There is no release date as yet but it is starting to get shown at industry events such as PAX so we should know more soon.
