Xbox Thinks You are Stinky and Wants to Help
First, it was onesies, then it was a sleepover in your onesie, now it is some cleaning products and deodorant to put on before you put your onesie on. That’s right, Xbox Australia’s promotions department is up to their old tricks again, this time teaming up with every male adolescent’s favourite seduction technique, Lynx deodorant.
The PR spin is wonderfully hyperbolic so I am going to let you read it in full, straight from the citrus-scented horse’s mouth.
Inspired by the achievements of Xbox fans around Australia and New Zealand, the new scent is designed to capture the confidence of God Mode, the brilliance of Ori and the BOOM! of Crackdown.
Lynx Xbox is a fresh scent of pulsing green citrus, featuring top notes of kaffir lime and winter lemon, aromatic herbal middle notes of mint and sage, and woody bottom notes of patchouli and clearwood. Containing a range of natural essential oils, the Xbox Lynx range comes with a sleek new look and features a body spray, deodorant and shower gel.
“In games, even the most insurmountable challenge can be overcome by lifting your game,” says Tania Chee, Business Group Lead for Xbox ANZ. “We see Xbox fans achieve incredible things every day, and we wanted to celebrate that elevated skill, passion and determination by creating something truly special. Now, powering up can be as simple as a quick spray before you head out the door.”
So Xbox fans, want to smell like what sounds like a refreshing cup of herbal tea? Good news the full range of Xbox Lynx stinky stuff will be available at your local Coles and Woolies (along with pharmacies and other places that these sort of things are purchased) in July.
