SMG Studios Release No Way Home
Aussie developers SMG Studio, the folks behind the fiendishly clever puzzler Death Squared and upcoming party game Moving Out, have just released sci-fi action title No Way Home on Apple Arcade.
Featuring flashy graphics, procedural generation, and a meaty story mode, No Way Home looks to add to the already-strong Australian and New Zealand contingent on Apple’s gaming subscription service.
Here’s the full press description of what to expect:
“Stranded in a strange galaxy, you must fight for survival using only your wits, your ship, and your party planning robot companion. Explore the universe, befriend bizarre aliens, and blast through hordes of monsters as you endeavour to find a way home. With a rich story mode set across a huge universe, you’ll have 50+ weapons to discover, craft and upgrade as you battle over 60 unique enemies. With randomly generated environments, every game is unique as you discover your own path to survival.”
I’ll be keen to check this one out for the Mobile Arcade Club, a podcast I co-host covering Apple Arcade and mobile-centric games. If No Way Home is anything resembling the quality of SMG Studio’s previous games, we’re sure to be in for a good time.
