IndieBoost – Barkour

Things have been tough for the indie scene this year. The impact of Covid19 and the subsequent cancellation of every games development/promotional activity has hit indie developers hard. This is where IndieBoost comes in. Player 2’s attempt to right that ship in a small way. Check out these titles folks and help Indie Developers to keep filling our lives with creativity and originality.

IndieBoost – Barkour

Dogs are cool, right? I mean I have a Labrador and a Newfoundland so I am probably a bit bias, but they are much better than those nasty, sell-you-out-at-the-first-opportunity felines that you see so much of on YouTube. So what could be better than a dog? How about a dog doing parkour? Barkour is a small title from Waynetron, that is exactly that. A physics-based game that requires players to control the bark, length of the dog’s legs and the dog’s rotation to overcome a series of obstacles.

The simple aesthetic continues Waynetron’s traditional approach to games, including the local multiplayer title Birdsketball and gives the game a striking look that is quite appealing and allows the control scheme to shine.
