New Witcher Game Is In Development
Fresh off having taken a massive redeeming step forward by releasing Cyberpunk 2077 on next-gen consoles, and with the next-gen remaster of The Witcher III: Wild Hunt due to launch in the next few months, CD Projekt Red overnight revealled that the adventures of the Witcher, which were neatly wrapped up at the end of The Witcher III, were not over. This morning in a post on The Witcher website titled, A New Saga Begins, it was revealed that new entry in the franchise was in development.
The post claims that the new entry will be “kicking off a new saga for the franchise”, that development will be shifting from the studio’s internal REDengine, to Epic’s Unreal Engine 5. No development timelines were announced along with the post.
Inquisitive fans wondering whether the story would continue to follow Geralt Of Rivia will have to remain in the dark a little longer with Geralt voice actor, Doug Cockle, declaring that he knows nothing about it
Yay! And before you ask... I know nothing... 🙂 @witchergame @CDPROJEKTRED #witcher #TheWitcher #Videogame #videogames #gaming #gamers https://t.co/tI9MZdiF6c
