New Lorcana Card Reveal ahead of Archazia's Island
Thanks to Disney and Ravensburger, we’re able to reveal one of the upcoming cards from the Wave 6 Disney Lorcana set, Archazia’s Island. Focusing on Pets, the new set will also introduce dual-Ink type cards and the new Vanish keyword which allows cards to self-banish as an action.
The Player2 reveal card is Treasure Planet’s Grewnge, a common Emerald Ink card numbered 86/204 for the set. Featuring the Pirate keyword, Grewnge should synergise with many of the cards from Azurite Sea and isn’t a total pushover with 2/2 in Strength and Willpower and a single Lore marker. His ‘Rapid Fire’ ability is perhaps the most interesting element, allowing players to reduce the Ink cost of an action by 1 if Grewnge has quested that turn.
As with previous Waves, Archazia’s Island will feature two Single-player decks (Ruby/Sapphire and Amethyst/Steel), an Illumineer’s Trove with a themed box and dice, two more sleeve and deckbox designs focusing on Cinderella and Ursuala alongisde a new Lilo Gift Set, following on from the Pirate Stitch Gift Set of the Azurite Sea wave and presumably building more promotion for the upcoming live action film release.
The Archazia’s Island wave of content is set to hit dedicated Hobby Stores on March 7th, while larger outlets won’t release stock until the 21st. With K-mart recently clearancing all Lorcana stock and Big W declining to carry it at all, Target and Amazon will hopefully remain steady sources for those without a FLGS nearby.
