One Last Chance To Change Time - Life is Strange: Reunion Announced.

Square Enix and Deck 9 have just confirmed one of 2026’s most persistent gaming rumours, and that is a new Life is Strange game, and more surprisingly, the return of Chloe. Announced in a 20-minute presentation, Life is Strange: Reunion will tell the story of Max, Chloe’s return and how that plays into the story based on your choices in the first game. The presentation dives right into spoiler territory for the original games, so if you are fresh to the franchise, it would be wise to avoid it. But for fans, it is really interesting to see how they are tackling the conundrum.

This time around, Max needs to use her time travel powers to prevent a disaster at her university, but the sudden arrival of Chloe seems to throw that quest into disarray. It feels like an interesting setup, one that, if done correctly, could be an absolute winner. The problem, as always, with this sort of game is how that narrative plays out and how impactful players’ choices are. Getting that balance right will be key, and frankl,y it isn’t an easy thing to achieve, so it will be interesting to see if Deck 9 is up to the task, especially when it comes to bringing a character like Chloe back to the fold.

The good news is, we won’t have long to wait to find out if it is a success. Life is Strange: Reunion is releasing on the 27th of March for Xbox Series, Xbox Cloud, PS5 and PC and is coming in a variety of editions, including a deluxe edition and a twin pack with Life is Strange: Double Exposure. Stay tuned to Player 2 for more info, as well as a review, as soon as possible, because we have a host of writers all keen to dive in and see this story play out.
