Oz Comic-Con Makes September Special
This September, Oz Comic-Con is making it extra Special thanks to the latest round of Special Guests announcements for the 2026 Sydney and Brisbane dates!
For pop culture fans in Sydney across September 12-13 and in Brisbane across September 19-20, Oz Comic-Con boasts a slew of events including Cosplay contests, live performances, panels, tabletop gaming, collectible trading, artist markets and more.
Of course, no Con is Con-plete without some Very Important Personages. That’s why famed Australian actress Miranda Otto (Lord of the Rings, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Doing Time for Patsy Cline) will be on-site offering autographs, photographs and Meet and greets.
If Éowyn’s stew doesn’t get your motor running, then perhaps the voice of Pomni from The Amazing Digital Circus will?
Voice actress Lizzie Freeman has appeared in numerous video game and anime adaptations including Genshin Impact and Honkai Star-Rail, although her performance as Pomni has helped her popularity explode! Lizzie will be offering Autographs, Photographs, Collectible signings, Meet & Greets and Short Audio Recording tokens.
Writer/Actor Brandon Rogers will make a Helluva’n appearance at Oz Comic-Con, and is definitely no Hazbin. Brandon has credits across both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, cultivating a fanbase of millions as a result. BranFans can look forward to autographs, collectible signings, photographs and Meet & Greets.
A man of many voices, Adam McArthur will be on-site and on fire! Somewhat known for his role in under-the-radar anime Jujutsu Kaisen as protagonist Yuji Itadori, it is his turn in Big City Greens that has this writer most in awe. Oh, Adam has also been doing well lately as Reno Ichikawa in Kaiju no.8, another lesser-known property that will hopefully get some recognition soon. In all honesty, Adam has an impressive resume and fans of his wide body of work can aim for an autograph, photograph or Meet & Greet with him.
Oooh it burns – Griffin Burns! Pulling double duty as a pop-rock musician in New New Girlfriend and voice actor in Genshin Impact (Childe), Demon Slayer (Muichiro), Devilman Crybaby (Akira Fudo) and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure (Doppio), Griffin Burns has carved time out of his busy schedule to satisfy fans in the southern hemisphere. Offering autographs, photographs and Meet & Greets, it’s sure to be a hot ticket at Oz Comic-Con.
