The Player 2 PixelCast 148
Ever set yourself up for a BBQ only to realise that your meat isn’t really all that well seasoned and… wait… I’m being told that this is, in fact, not what this episode. No, this one is about that time I was led to believe that Grand Theft Auto 3 was a revolutionary gaming experience in a truly immersive world when what it actually delivered was garbage combat that made the already uninteresting missions worse, as well as an open world that may have just been built out of cardboard boxes filled with trigger-reactive events that made no sense and a story with the odd moment of overt sexism. The only thing that could have made it much worse was that remote-control helicopter mission from Vice City. What an absolute turd of a game.
Ahem. Anyway. This episode of the PixelCast is kind of like a second half of a Hewso two-parter. Whereas last time we looked at games we liked in spite of a less-than-enthusiastic reception, this time things got flipped. This one is about popular shit that we actively loathe.
