The 2017 Player 2 Charity Marathon is Coming!
After the success of our first charity gaming marathon, we are pleased to announce that we are going to do it all again in 2017. This year the festivities will be on the 26th of August, kicking off at 10 AM AEST and run for a full 24 hours. There will be more prizes, more participants and more insane talk in the wee hours of the morning. Last year we raised a cool $2310 and this year we want to bust that mark, but we can’t do it without your help.
The really exciting news this year is our partner for the Marathon. This year all funds raised will be going to the Terry Campese Foundation. Terry, an ex-NRL player, has used his public profile to create the TCF as a way to help sick children and underprivileged families in the ACT and Southern NSW areas. Terry has even been awarded the prestigious Ken Stephen medal for contributions to the community by the NRL for his work with his charity foundation. Here at Player 2, we are proud and excited to be supporting a charity that does such great work and are looking forward to Terry joining us for some gaming fun on the night.
