PAX Aus Announces 2024 Keynote Speaker
The 2024 Keynote Speaker for PAX AUS 2024 has been unveiled! This year attendees can look forward to Julian Winton, Creative Director at Massive Monster (Cult of the Lamb) as the Storytime Speaker, which kicks off at midday in the Main Theatre on Friday the 11th of October, the first day of PAX Aus 2024.
Having been a successful creator since the age of 17, Julian later co-founded Massive Monster in 2016. The studio has since produced well over 50 titles across this time, winning themselves a spot in the 2016 PAX Aus Indie Showcase with Adventure Pals before receiving critical and commercial acclaim with Cult of the Lamb in 2022 which secured them a major publishing deal with Devolver Digital.
Julian will cover these topics and many more during his Storytime, but those without PAX Badges will need to act fast to ensure a spot – Three Day Badges have already Sold Out and only Single Day Badges are remaining at a cost of $75 per day.
PAX Aus also announced a slew of other Special Guests that attendees can look forward to: Commander Shephard himself, Canadian voice actor Mark Meer, will be on site to represent not only his work for BioWare but numerous other titles including Gotham Knights, The Long Dark and MythForce.
John Robertson and The Dark Room return after a hugely successful showing at PAX Aus 2023. The Dark Room is an interactive, deranged cyberpunk comedy game show described by critics as ‘chaotic, thrilling and completely unmissable. Having sold out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and other festivals around the world, it’s not to be missed.
