As Australia emerges from nearly a decade of darkness, bleary-eyed, tepidly tip-toeing into the sunlight; cautiously checking for landmines lest the suddenly greener grass turns out to be a mirage, Player 2’s PixelCast has turned eight-four, and so we’ve taken a hard right and steered directly into games that paint a future of chaos, destruction or utter dispiriting bleakness. Or possibly a mix of the above.

This episode really does have everything. Tim is leading the charge, followed by old-hands Ken and Hewso. We have both glee and despair! Videogames and phone call interruptions! Totally forgetting to keep enough time stamps, so said interruptions end up in the final show! But, okay… it’s still mostly about video games.
