News Bites – 27th of May 2015
– A new Mad Max story trailer was released today. It shows a bit more about Max’s motivations for kicking around the wastelands and helps to flesh out the game world. Will the game live up to the awesome Fury Road? Probably not but if it gets even close it will be a cracking game. Max is hitting consoles in September.
– If there was an award to the franchise with the most remakes it would probably go to Resident Evil. Word came out over night that the prequel story Resident Evil 0 is getting the HD workover. I guess it makes sense that they keep re-releasing the good games of the series because the last few new ones haven’t been that crash hot. The remake is due in early 2016.
– Playstation exclusive scarefest Until Dawn finally has a release date. The long delayed game will be hitting store shelves on the 26th of August. Sony have also announced that Peter Stormare is also joining the voice cast for the game. You make recognise Peter from just about any movie that needs a crazy Russian in it.
– Project X Zone 2 has finally let the cat out the bag as to what video games franchises will be taking part in this virtual turn based battle. Characters from Streets of Rage, Street Fighter, Sakura Wars, God Eater and Ace Attorney will be getting it on in the battle for….. well who knows but they will be fighting and that is all that is important. There are plenty more characters still to be announced so it looks like this could one mammoth game. Project X Zone 2 is due for release in the latter part of this year.
