– The latest Xbox One System update is out now. Key features added this month include the ability to send voice messages to friends and the addition of dedicated servers for party chat. Say what you will about the launch of the One but you cannot doubt Microsoft’s commitment to continue to improve the system.
– After leaving Konami last year many wondered what Castlevania creator Koji Igarashi’s next project would be. Well it seems he hasn’t strayed far from what he does best with the announcement of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. The game is being funded on Kickstarter and is already well past the million dollar mark. The game looks to be a nice evolution on the Symphony of the Night formula so if that is your thing be sure to get involved.
– The King’s Quest revival has added some serious voice talent to voice the game. Most notable is non other than Doc Brown. That’s right Cristopher Lloyd will be lending his famous voice along with Wallace “inconceivable” Shawn and Zelda Williams to the King’s newest adventure. Here is hoping a “Great Scott” finds its way into the script somewhere.
– A new survival game has just been announced but the catch this time is that Raptors and T-rexes are your biggest threat to a long and happy life. The game is called ARK: Survival Evolved and it sees players stranded in a strange land populated with dinosaurs. These giant reptiles need to be avoided or tamed in order to survive. It is certainly an interesting and ambitious premise. Check out the trailer for more info.
