Victory No Longer

Victory No Longer

The next game in the long running Assassin’s Creed franchise has been officially announced overnight. Long rumoured to be titled Victory, the actual title of the game is Syndicate and it is set in Victorian England. The title is being developed Ubisoft’s Quebec City studio and this will be their first attempt at a fully fledged AC game (though they have worked on DLC for other AC titles in the past).

The game is actually looking to include some interesting new features to the mix including vehicular based combat, improved stealth mechanics, a Batman style grappling hook and the ability to form a criminal syndicate through recruitment activities. Perhaps the biggest new feature however is the ability to play as both a male and female lead protagonist. Ubisoft seem to have finally gotten the message because not only will there be a female playable character but a large proportion of the enemies will be female as well.

Assassins’s Creed: Syndicate is due for release on Xbox One and PS4 on the 23rd of October and later in the year for PC. There are no plans for any AC games to come to Xbox 360 and PS3.
