Steep Expansion gets Olympic Sized Beta
Snowsports fans rejoice, Ubisoft’s Steep is getting a new expansion soon and to warm up the servers they are having a big open beta starting on the 29th of November. Road to the Olympics will focus less on the crazy free-roaming of the base game and more on the serious snow events that make up the winter Olympics.
The beta will feature five challenges and a free roam area set in Japan. These challenges show off some of the wingsuit, Olympic and snowboard events. The added bonus is the fastest person on the “downhill” leaderboard at the end of the open beta will have a chance to win a ticket to the Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang South Korea. How cool would that be?
The beta kicks off tomorrow and ends on the 4th of December so you have a good few days to get some sick tricks, big air and sweet lines in and maybe even win a trip to South Korea. What are you waiting for? The beta will be available on Xbox, PS4 and PC.
