State of Decay 2 Announces Start of Zombie Apocalypse
As anyone who follows me on twitter would know, I have an unashamed love for State of Decay. It was the little Zombie simulator that could. Sure it had more bugs than a dodgy food truck and it was uglier than a boxer after 100 fights, but it had heart. It created a true simulation, a recreation of living in a zombie-infested world and it did with unique and interesting gameplay that had me hooked from day one.
So to say that I am excited for State of Decay 2 would be an understatement and that excitement only doubled today with the announcement of a release date and price. The magic date is the 22nd of May and it is selling for the measly price of $50. If you are a super fan like myself you may even want to splash for the fancy $70 version that comes with two expansion packs (when they are released of course) and is released a few days earlier on the 18th. There is also a few little in-game bonuses if you are willing to put down a pre-order. Of course being a Microsoft published game it is coming to both PC and Xbox One and it is a Play Anywhere title.
So really there isn’t much time to wait for what, in my mind at least, is one of the more exciting titles that has been announced for this year. I can’t wait to see what the bigger budget has allowed State of Decay 2 to become.

Editor of Player 2, Matt spends his time yelling at strangers as they walk past, imploring them to visit Player 2. Sadly this tactic hasn’t yielded any significant results but he keeps on trying regardless.
