Breast Cancer gets Mercy

Here at Player 2, we love it when video game companies get creative in charity fundraising and this latest effort from Blizzard is a cracker. From now until May 22 there will be a special pink skin available to purchase for Mercy in Overwatch. All proceeds from the sale of this skin will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Fund (BCRF). It is a seriously great way to earn some money for a very worthy cause and with Mother’s day this weekend, a timely reminder of how important this sort of research is. I don’t usually buy things like Skins and Costumes but I am going to make an exception in this instance.

A Square E3 Show

For the first time since 2015, Square Enix will be giving an E3 presentation. Hopefully, this means some big announcements from the distinguished publisher. Will we see more on Final Fantasy VII? Maybe some of their Avenger’s game? There could even be room for some big surprises… I wouldn’t say no to Just Cause 4 (set in Australia of course). You can catch the whole show at 3 am AEST on the 12th of June. If that time is just too early for you, fear not because Player 2 will be up and have a full summary for you in the morning.
