Soul Calibur VI Unleashed in October
As a part of their E3 celebrations, Bandai Namco has announced a release date for the next entry in the well-loved fighting series, Soul Calibur. The game is launching on the 19th of October on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The Soul Calibur team has also given out the first details of the game’s story mode. Here are the details straight from their mouth:
Taking place in the 16th century, SOULCALIBUR VI sets players on a voyage of discovery as they uncover events from the original SOULCALIBUR to learn hidden truths. The game will also feature a diverse line-up of new and returning characters with their unique fighting styles and weapons including series mainstays; Mitsurugi and Sophitia and newcomers such as special guest-character, Geralt of Rivia, from CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher® series and GrØh who was recently announced.
Hopefully, the Story mode is stronger than the Tekken 7 one, which was a bit rough. The chances are good however as Soul Calibur has always had a better story than Tekken in my mind. So fans should check out the new trailer and screens in preparation for another battle of destinies on October 19.
Dad, Gamer, Writer, Husband all rolled into one big ball of random matter.
Editor of Player 2, Matt spends his time yelling at strangers as they walk past, imploring them to visit Player 2. Sadly this tactic hasn’t yielded any significant results but he keeps on trying regardless.
