8BitDo Launches Into Oz
After making a name for themselves in Europe and the US, prolific 3rd part controller maker 8BitDo is finally launching into the Australian market, coming to retailers everywhere very soon. Making the launch even more exciting is that it coincides with the launch of their new, retro-themed, Switch Pro controller design, the 8BitDo Pro 2.
This cool controller is designed for Switch, PC and Android devices so it is a versatile little unit that can connect to just about any non-PS or Xbox system you own. It also includes software that will allow button customisation, stick adjustments, trigger sensitivity and vibration control, really giving players the chance to make the controller suit them perfectly. The promise of 20 hours charge time is also a nice bonus.
“We’re excited to be bringing 8BitDo’s incredible range to Australia and New Zealand. 8BitDo is revered internationally for providing the highest-quality retro controllers available,” said Bluemouth Co-Founder and Managing Director David Provan in a recent press release. “It’s great to be able to announce the launch of the SN30 Pro 2 which beautifully coincides with 8BitDo’s wider range launching in Australia and New Zealand in the coming months.”
The 8BitDo Pro 2 will launch in three colours in Aussie stores on the 6th of May, retailing for $89.95. Our NZ buddies have to wait an extra month, until the 6th of June, with the RRP in the land of the long white cloud being $99.95.
