Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate | Hype Check
With Super Evil Megacorps’ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate now only a few days away, we wanted to touch base with some of our team to see how they’re feeling about the game. We’ve seen a range of media up to this point, from gameplay showcases and trailers, we’ve seen the press releases, and heard the talk, but how are we feeling? That’s where we’re bringing Hype Check into the mix; to get a gauge on what the prospective players are thinking. So here’s how we’re feeling about TMNT: Splintered Fate.

If I had a squad of buddies to play this with, I would 100% be giving Ninja Turtle Hades a go – assuming they let me play as Donatello, otherwise I’d riot. Honestly, I might give it a try on my own, even though this absolutely seems like it’s designed to be a multiplayer experience. TMNT has had a streak of good games recently, and I’m hoping they’re in for another one.

Brawlers and I don’t really mix to be honest. Which is a problem doubled up by not really having friends close by to enjoy this week. As nice as it would be to show off some Turtle Power in action, I think I’ll catch the highlights on the Channel 6 news for this one!

If this is the same game that was out on Apple Arcade, then I’ve not really got any interest. Kairosoft already annoy the heck out of me with their “full price indie” PC/console ports which are 3-4 times what they cost on phones. This actually seems ok as a game, and there have been games that have crossed the barrier from phone to console without problems, I just don’t find them all that interesting.
