Back to normal! We have three members (Tim, Steve and Rob) and three fairly up-to-date games to talk about. We say fairly because, well, a couple of weeks has become a long time in video games. Shit’s crazy now – when we were still floppy-haired youngsters, news cycles were monthly and things like news and reviews were printed on this strange substance called paper.
We also mostly had bugger-all to play back then. Sure, there were still plenty of games out there on those consoles that plugged into fat, blockish TVs, but forty bucks for one title was a legit good price once upon a time, and mostly we got two or three games per year. As such, a game had to really stink not to get played a lot. Do we still make time to revisit favourites from a year or two ago today, though? Well… maybe. At least, that’s what we end up discussing for the bulk of this episode.
