New Modes Revealed for V-Rally 4
Bigben and Kylotonn Racing Games have released a trailer showing off two of the 5 different race modes available in the upcoming V-Rally 4. V-Rally Cross will have you racing against 7 others over both dirt and asphalt, requiring you to tailor your driving technique to the conditions as they change. Buggy races will have you bouncing around in the lighter and agiler vehicles, which could lead to some hairy moments if you hit an unexpected bump at high speeds.
The trailer looks gorgeous and shows off some of the weather effects racers will have to contend with, with fog and mud visible in both day and night time races.
Rounding out the race modes will be the standard Rally, Extreme-Khana, which will have you drifting at high speed through an obstacle course, and racing powerful cars to be the first to the top in Hill climb. So far a career mode and local split-screen multi-player have been confirmed for the game, with the online game modes to be announced in the not too distant future.
Fans of the V-Rally series can get their hands on the latest instalment for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in September this year, with a release date for the Nintendo Switch to be confirmed.
