The 2018 Player 2 Charity Marathon
All good events deserve a sequel and with that in mind, the Player 2 Charity Marathon is coming back for another year! Last year we raised just shy of $3800 for the Terry Campese Foundation, a wonderful organisation that assists ill and underprivileged children in the ACT and Southern NSW regions. The big day will be the 15th of September, kicking off at 10am AEST. The Player 2 crew will be ploughing through 24 hours of games non-stop in an effort to raise the most money we possibly can.
This year the crew is once again gearing up for 24hours of gaming to support Terry’s foundation and the only way to do that is with donations from our wonderful community. We have set our goal at $3500 but there is no reason we can’t smash that with your help. To entice you we will have thousands of dollars worth of prizes to give away and we are also hoping to get some of the Canberra Raiders players to show up again.
One thing we are trying to do this year is encourage the streaming community to host our marathon, so if you fit that bill and want to help out (even if it is for an hour or so) please get in contact with us, we would love to have you on board. Your help will enable us to reach a bigger audience and raise more money for this worthy cause.
