The Great Misthios and The All-Father join Assassins Creed Valhalla
Two big bits of exciting news for Assassins Creed fans have been released from the Ubisoft stables and I for one am excited. The first is a free set of missions for both Assassins Creed Odyssey and Valhalla. It has long been rumoured (and hoped for) that Kassandra will make an appearance in Valhalla, after all, it makes sense if you have seen the end of Odyssey. So as of tomorrow, you will be able to play a bridging set of missions in Odyssey and Evior and Kassandra will clash in a range of missions in Valhalla.
This is super exciting for me as I feel like Kassandra is easily the best character in the franchise, I may even be a touch in love, so I am keen to see how she handles Evior’s Viking ways and how they will come together to tackle a Templar threat. Sorry Alexios fans, Ubisoft has finally confirmed what everyone already knows, Kassandra is the true hero of Odyssey and Alexios won’t appear in Valhalla.
The second big news is the announcement of a new expansion, Dawn of Ragnorak. This new expansion will see players take control of Odin, attempting to prevent Ragnorak from occurring. This chunky new expansion will lean into the setting with magical powers and god-like abilities being used to take on supernatural enemies like frost giants and the like.
So it seems that both Odyssey and Valhalla fans are in for some treats in the coming months. The Odyssey/Valhalla missions are available tomorrow (the 15th of December) and are free, while the paid expansion Dawn of Ragnorak is scheduled to release on March 10, 2022
