Paper Mario Splashing Into Retail This Year
Despite having quite a small showing at E3 this year Nintendo still managed to show off some games that aren’t called Zelda. One of those games was Paper Mario: Colour Splash and it is certainly looking like a return to form for the turn-based RPG-lite series. The game will be hitting stores on October 7, 2016, so there is at least one more game for Wii U owners to be excited for.
To go along with this release date Nintendo also released a new trailer and, to my eyes at least, it looks like a return to the gameplay from the Gamecube and N64 games and a move away from the slightly below par 3DS release Sticker Star. Only time will tell if it lives up to the best games in the franchise.

Editor of Player 2, Matt spends his time yelling at strangers as they walk past, imploring them to visit Player 2. Sadly this tactic hasn’t yielded any significant results but he keeps on trying regardless.
