Our First Good Look At System Shock Lands
Thanks to the PC Gaming Show, we finally have a good look at the System Shock remake that has, frankly, been a long time coming. Thankfully it looks amazing and the wait appears to have been worth it. For those too young to have played the original game, it is a tense sci/fi thriller about a rogue AI that is destroying a space station and creating a creepy army of mechanical/mutated creatures.
To talk about how far this game has come since its original release, here is a little tidbit for you: System Shock was one of the first-ever FPS games to include the ability to look up and down, but the catch was it didn’t have mouse-look so you had to use the keyboard. Needless to say, I hope the controls have improved since then. Anyways, that little bit of info aside, I am super excited for the remake and can’t wait to see more. We don’t have a release date as yet, but it is available for pre-order so hopefully we don’t have long to wait. In the meantime, check out the new trailer and screens that just landed.
