Bloodlines 2 Takes a Bite Out of E3
After an age, classic PC RPG Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines is getting a sequel and to be quite honest, it looks great. A new trailer shown off in the PC Gaming show last night wowed the crowd with what looks to be one of the most exciting RPGs heading our way in the near future.
The game will once again be about finding your place in an underground society of the undead, making alliances with factions and staying unnoticed to the oblivious human population. Some really cool systems are at play and they can be best explained with the PR brief below.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 features:
- Feed Your Power, Own the Night – Immerse yourself in the World of Darkness and live out your vampire fantasy in a city filled with intriguing characters that react to your choices. Your unique disciplines, vampiric powers granted by the clan you join, make you a supernatural weapon in a forward-driving, fast-moving, melee-focused combat system. - Descend into Seattle’s Dark Heart and Survive the Vampire Elite – Seattle has always been run, albeit secretly, by vampires. Hunt your prey across Seattle locations faithfully reimagined in the World of Darkness, from the piers of the waterfront to the bars and clubs of Pioneer Square. Meet the old blood founders present since the city’s birth and the new blood steering the tech money redefining the city. Everyone has hidden agendas – so choose your allies wisely.

I am really keen to see how this one turns out. The first game was a cult classic so hopefully, this title takes it one step further and makes it a break out hit.
