Cause This is What it’s Like When Eras Collide – Tony Hawk is Back
Well skating fans, it seems your dreams (and mine) have been answered. Tony Hawk is back with a remake of both Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2. Developed by Vicarious Visions, the cool cats that redid Crash Bandicoot, this remake is taking everything from the first two games in the classic franchise, jamming them together adding a 4K HD coat of paint and sending it out into the world for players to once again grind, flip, grab and slide their time away.
The game is bringing back the classic soundtrack as well as including some quality-of-life improvements and gameplay features from later Tony Hawk titles like the revert move, just to ensure everyone has as much fun as possible. There will also be new tricks and secrets, online multiplayer and added challenges to the classic maps. There will also be a beefed-up create-a-skater and create-a-skatepark modes that should see new creations shared with the community to keep the gameplay alive for a long time to come.
To top it all off the collector’s edition is something quite special. Instead of a dodgy statue of Tony Hawk, it comes with an actual, usable Tony Hawk Birdhouse skate deck. How cool is that? Hang it on the wall or try and relive your youth by actually skating yourself into the nearest emergency ward. This is only available at EB Games in Australia and it is sure to sell out quickly.
So get ready skate fans. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2 is hitting the Xbox One, PS4 and PC on the 4th of September. In the meantime check out all the screenshots and trailer to get you as excited as I am.

Editor of Player 2, Matt spends his time yelling at strangers as they walk past, imploring them to visit Player 2. Sadly this tactic hasn’t yielded any significant results but he keeps on trying regardless.
