Primordials Legends: Hollow Hero KickStarter Launches
The game Primordials: Fireborn has been on the feature piece of the Aussie game-development scene for quite a few years. We’ve seen it at events like PAX AUS in 2018, and 2019, and even Toybox Games Studios’ own Tyson Butler-Boschma has joined us for Dev Diary to talk further about the game. It has been three years since we last updated you on Primordials, and it turns out that a lot can change in a tumultuous pandemic-afflicted three years. Primordials: Fireborn is no more, and from its ashes springs new shoots, and specifically Primordials Legends: Hollow Hero. The Aussie-developed title has just launched a Kickstarter, and we’re here to share all of the details.
Toybox have outlined some of the core aspects underpinning the title in a press release accompanying the launch of the Kickstarter
Primordials Legends: Hollow Hero tells the tale of Brunt, an anthropomorphic wombat on her first adventure in the fantasy world, Eridal. Embark on this epic 3rd person action-filled adventure. Encounter challenging puzzles, visceral combat, and physic defying platforming and traversal mechanics along the way. Stunning environments created in Unreal Engine 5 let you immerse yourself in Brunt’s journey through a world abundant with life and inhabited by curious creatures. Join the fight and learn more about the mysterious world of Eridal and its past. You may even discover more about the mystical god-like creatures known as the legendary Primordials… Coming to PC with other platforms planned in the future

It seems as though, even based upon the naming convention of the game’s title that Toybox Game Studios intend to make this game the first in a greater series, one that either continues to follow Brunt, or follows a different mammalian creature.
