EA Launches Plants Vs Zombies 3 In Australia
We all know Plants Vs Zombies. The product of PopCap, the original Plants Vs Zombies was a pioneer in the mobile gaming scene when it first launched in 2009, becoming a global phenomenon that spawned a sequel, Plants Vs Zombies 2 in 2014, and offshoots, Garden Warfare 1, 2, and Batte For Neighbourville, and Heroes. The wait for a new core Plants Vs Zombies game has been long, with many concerned that EA and PopCap had been unable to successfully recapture the magic of the first two titles – but the wait is no longer (for us Aussies at least), because Plants Vs Zombies 3 is here at last.
EA has simultaneously both announced and soft-launched Plants Vs Zombies 3: Welcome To Zomburbia across a range of regions, including Australia. Here’s how EA and PopCap describe the game
“Players will move through the Plants vs. Zombies 3: Welcome to Zomburbia’s brand-new storyline by completing tower defence challenges. PvZ3 calls back to the classic combat of the first Plants vs Zombies mobile game, allowing players to engage in the signature defence gameplay while refreshing it with new puzzle-adventure gameplay elements. The streamlined experience brings players puzzle-like battles that challenge them to defeat a series of zombie waves using refreshed plants of the past along with some sprouting seedlings to discover.”

Plants vs. Zombies 3: Welcome to Zomburbia is now available in early access for Apple and Android devices mobile devices in Australia, the United Kingdom, Netherlands, and Philippines, ahead of a larger rollout, worldwide later in 2024.
