A new year! A new podcast! This is a long one, too – after chewing his way through Starfield for th efinal quarter of 2023, it seems that Ken has found something that he is actually excited about in the form of a free-to-play title, of all things. Suffice to say, his enthusiasm here is actually a bit infectious!
He’s not even the one steering the ship, here! That was Tim! Or, at least, that’s what he was supposed to be doing. They’re joined by Renee as well and together all three people recoil in horror at the realization that it’s 2024! Dude, 1994 wasn’t all that long ago! Who the hell is giving Donkey Kong Country permission to turn thirty? Being the first of the year, though, this episode isn’t about looking back – it’s about looking forward. And that’s what we do during the second half as the stuff that we’re excited to play as the year moves along becomes the focus.
