Can you smell that? Taste it? No? Actually, you can – what you are experiencing is a paucity of sweaty armpits and unwashed bodies as events such as E3 continue to take place online in spite of the U.S. having gotten its vaccination shit together in a way that… we clearly haven’t.
While a potentially life-saving, socially responsible jab in the arm may be at the top of our wish-lists, a chance to see a number of shiny new videogames isn’t too much farther down. And, hey, E3 turning into less of an actual event and more like a weird smear on a calendar, at least everyone can easily watch from the sleepy comfort of their own homes. For this show, the team is putting forward their basic predictions. Get those bingo cards, ready, however, because plenty are bound to be wrong.
